I have searched hi and low for this; I've even emailed Issam but no reply yet. I am trying to find an audio of the drum solo piece that Jillina dances to in the BDSS DVD with Issam Houshan playing. Here is a clip: youtube.com/watch
I've checked and it is not in Issam's new CD Wassoun Pharaoun. Does anyone know if this drum solo piece is available in audio anywhere? I love it and would you to do a choreography to it, but have no idea how to get it. Please HELP!

Wed, July 2, 2008 - 8:07 PMLadies, I doubt you will find a CD with that exact live drum solo. Some of that is part of Tabla Solo 3 on Issam's 'The Dancing Drum' CD. It is also part of Wassan Pharoun which is cut 2 from Issam's CD of the same title. Actually, the 7 min,49 second piece is a compilation phrases from Tabla Solos 1, 2 and 3 from 'The Dancing Drum', scrambled with additional signature Issam stuff. It is the 'heart 'of Issam's preferred technique combinations. You will have to 'cut and paste' to recreate the exact runs.

Fri, July 11, 2008 - 2:32 PMIssam has a new CD as of May 2008. "Simmmabulous" is the cut and the album is The Dancing Drum, Vol. 2. You can download it on iTunes. It's also the music Jillina uses on her DVD "Bellydance with Jillina: Drum Solo Choreography." Happy shimmying. -
